The Misbourne Practice is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults with care and support needs.
Everyone has the right to feel safe. Abuse, neglect, exploitation, domestic abuse, bullying, discrimination and coercive behaviour can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, disability, gender, ethnicity, religion or personal circumstances.
If you are worried about your own safety, the safety of a child, or the wellbeing of an adult at risk, please speak to a member of our team. We will listen to your concerns and take appropriate action to help keep people safe.
Our clinicians and staff have a legal and professional duty to share relevant information with safeguarding agencies where there are concerns that a child or adult may be at risk of harm. Wherever possible we will be open and honest about information sharing; however, consent is not always required where there is a safeguarding concern or a legal duty to protect someone from harm.
If you have concerns about abuse, neglect or exploitation, please speak to a member of staff or ask to raise it with one of our Safeguarding Leads.
Children's Safeguarding Lead: Dr Jo Brodie

Adult Safeguarding Lead: Dr Adam Bartkiewicz
Deputy Adult Safeguarding Lead: Dr Randitha Hettiaratchi
